About Me... |

Working in all aspects of residential construction, from forming to Tarion Conciliations, has taught me that issues will arise during all construction projects. Are you prepared to deal with them?
I have excellent knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, and have applied this to the variety of construction projects completed in over 17 years in construction.
Recently, I was employed in the position of Warranty Field Supervisor with a Large London Home Builder. I was responsible for dealing with the Home Owner, for the statutory two-year warranty period, in a professional and reliable manner. This experience has provided me insight that most Large Builders do not want you to know, but will benefit you.
Home Owner education is a large part of my business, as I help you to interpret the limits of the Ontario New Home Warranty Plan Act and to deal with the issues surrounding residential homes.
I graduated at the top of my class, with a 4.0 GPA, from the two-year Construction Engineering Program at Fanshawe College, here in London, ON.
I am a Certified Member of the Ontario Association of Certified Technologists and Technicians (OACETT), in good standing. This Professional Engineering Association regulates Technicians working in the engineering field.
Work Experience:
1991 - Present: Suter Design Build: Various projects concentrating on Renovations, New Construction and Design, under Part 9 of the OBC. Starting in 2008, you can benefit from my years of hands on experience, by allowing me to consult on your project.
2005-2007: Kenmore Developments (London) Inc.: Warranty and Service Field Supervisor. Using my construction background, knowledge of the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act and my customer relation skills to resolve Tarion New Home Warranty related issues. Education of Homeowners regarding their new Kenmore Home including: systems, maintenance, and related warranties.
1980-1991: Worked in Various positions in construction including; Concrete Forming, Framing, Drywall, Insulation, Roofing, Decks and Landscaping.
Home Inspections:
I have preformed over 400 home inspections for home owners in the London area. From attending PDI’s to complete inspections on resale homes, I have seen it. Structural problems, water penetration, IAQ, mould issues, and zoning issues are just a few of the situations that I have uncovered.
